Italy, Here We Come!

Based on a suggestion from one of our students, we have decided to take students to Italy in September of 2017 !!

Flag of Italy

The flag of Italy is a tricolor featuring three equally sized vertical pales of green, white and red, with the green at the hoist side.


Italy (Italy in Italian) is a European country with a long Mediterranean coastline, it shares open land borders with France, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, San Marino, and Vatican City. Its capital, Rome, is home to the Vatican as well as landmark art and ancient ruins. The official currency is the Euro (€).

Italy has a largely temperate seasonal climate or Mediterranean climate; due to its shape, it is often referred to in Italy as lo Stivale (the Boot).
